Founded by Scott & Tessa Christian, Sunny Grove is a family-run brewery in Santee with one mission: brew exceptional beer and build genuine community. From a double false start to this very taproom, our journey has been driven by passion, resilience, and a love for craft.

We believe bottom-fermented lagers and crisp session beers aren’t just for warmer months, they’re year-round staples. That’s why you’ll always find at least a couple lagers on tap, alongside rotating hazy IPAs, stouts, and seasonal styles. “People out here want to hang out and want to drink,” says Tessa, and our beer lineup reflects that laid-back East County lifestyle.
From the vibrant mural of hop-palms to the quartz-topped wrap-around bar, our space is designed for community and comfort. Pull up a high-top, watch the brewhouse tanks glow in color, or roll out through our patio with your favorite food truck outside – this is more than craft beer; it’s a gathering place.
